After doing some research on the web and taking a look at Planoly’s Instagram, I’ve found that their main target customers are Bloggers and influencers. These are people who are so busy going out and making content that it may be hard for them to slow down and take the time to actually post something

I did a website analysis of Planoly.com using SimilarWeb analytics and found that people who visit Planoly.com are interested in things like photography, arts, entertainment, news, magazines, and electronics; all very common blog topics.

While Planoly’s main audience seems to be bloggers, influencers, and web personalities, I believe it is a tool that can be utilized by brands and small business as well. After combing the web I’ve found various articles about how important keeping up a noticeable Instagram presence and aesthetic is to any brand that wishes to differentiate itself. In an article from creativlesquared.com, Christy Laurence wrote about 5 reasons why it is important for a brand to have a visual brand strategy for Instagram. One of the biggest reasons she mentions is that “brand recognition is subconscious”. Laurence mentions how a popular Instagram personality’s fun and playful aesthetic has made her posts visually identifiable where ever they appear. This can potentially help boost brand recognition and awareness (Planoly can help you plan your future, highly identifiable, Instagram feed aesthetic).
However, the biggest reason I believe Planoly to be an amazingly viable business tool for brands and businesses is because it can help in keeping up consistency. Whether that be with frequency of posting, or time, Planoly can aid in making sure your Instagram account never seems inactive. In a post found on suebzimmerman.com , she says that “sharing content consistently not only improves your engagement, which can improve the visibility of your content in your followers’ news feeds, but it also helps to foster strong relationships for your brand.”
Planoly can also greatly reduce the time it takes to share content on Instagram. Blogger, Mike Gingerich, commends the app for how easy it makes it to stay on top of things and engage with your brand’s audience.
