Who does Planoly compete with?

We live in an era where having the perfect Instagram feed is of utmost importance to not just bloggers and selfie queens, but to businesses and brands as well. Because of this, many apps like Planoly, that allow you to plan and automate your Instagram feed, have been created. Here are some of the apps various bloggers are saying go toe to toe with Planoly in the ring of Instagram feed planning

UNUM

Unum is a similar instagram feed planner and analytics app. Its features are quite similar to Planoly’s and include:

  • Free tier
  • Photo uploading
  • Drag & drop feed rearrangement
  • Post scheduling
  • Analytics capabilities

While there are many similarities in the features offered by these two apps, some that  Planoly has that Unum does not is  autonomous scheduled posting; meaning that instead of sending users a notification to manually post a photo at its scheduled time, Planoly will simply post it for the user without any interaction. Planoly also offers a web dashboard with full app features available.

MOSAICO

Mosaico is another feed planning app that bloggers have been experimenting with. Many of its capabilities are also similar to that of Planoly and Unum and include:

  • Photo Uploading
  • Sync current Instagram feed photos
  • Drag and drop feed rearrangement
  • Post scheduling
  • Analytics capabilities

Although Mosaico offers many of the same useful features as Planoly , its main pitfall is that there is no free tier offered. The app is currently listed at $5.99 on the app store and includes further in app purchases. Planoly also trumps this app in that again, while both offer post scheduling abilities, only Planoly can post autonomously to your Instagram account.

LATER

Later is another app that I noticed many bloggers mentioning when discussing what apps are the best for helping brands and influencers curate the perfect Instagram feed. Some of the features that this app has in common with Planoly include:

  • Free tier available
  • Photo Uploading
  • Drag and drop feed arrangement
  • Photo Scheduling
  • **Auto Posting** (Business accounts only)
  • Analytics capabilities
  • Web dashboard available

Out of all the most popular Instagram feed planning apps looked at, Later seems to be the Planoly’s biggest contender feature wise. However, this app does seem to lack the ability to sync your existing Instagram feed into your in app feed
