My name is Cynthia Park and I’m a guest writer here on Plan Your Gram, from my own blog, TrueSocial. I am a Georgia State University student pursuing a B.B.A. in Marketing with a focus in Digital Marketing and Advertising. After graduation, I plan to gain experience in the corporate world for about 2-3 years maximum until I begin making moves toward my personal ventures, one of which is to start my own unique brand and company.
Stumbling across Plan Your Gram, I found out about the new emerging social media app referred to as Planoly. People, brands, businesses, and all other users of Planoly utilize this new app to design the most attractive feed on their social media accounts, such as Instagram. Looking through the posts about this app, I found that the usefulness of it is directly transferrable to another new platform called Vero.
Vero is an emerging platform that takes the most useful aspects of other platforms such as Facebook, and integrates all those highlights into a completely new and innovative social media channel. What makes it different from all the other social media outlets? No ads. No algorithms. No data-mining. The app puts control back into the hands of the users, and not the other way around. It also includes many cool new features that allow users and influencers to posts longer videos, short films, books, places, and more onto their feed; and lets the users choose who out of their friends and followers can see which posts.
